02/22/2012 - Bloomington, IN (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The 23rd-ranked Indiana Hoosiers host the NC Central Eagles tonight to end their non-conference slate at Assembly Hall.
Tonight will be the third encounter between Indiana and the Eagles. The Hoosiers hold a 2-0 lead in the series after their 72-56 victory on Nov. 23rd, 2010.
NC Central comes in with a 14-12 overall record and an 8-5 mark in MEAC play. The Eagles are coming off a 71-66 victory over North Carolina A&T on Saturday, in which they hit 48.8 percent of their field goals. NC Central has not played a ranked opponent yet this season, but it is 0-3 against BCS Conference programs (Wake Forest, NC State, and Oregon). LeVelle Moton is in his third season with the Eagles and has a 36-49 overall record with the program.
The Eagles will look to Dominique Sutton and Ray Willis to power the upset tonight. Sutton is leading the team with 16.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game while connecting on 59.5 percent of his shots from the floor. Willis is contributing 15.8 points and 5.7 boards per game. Emanuel Chapman is a very good distributor as he is handing out 5.6 assists per contest.
Tom Crean's Hoosiers come in with a 20-7 overall record after their 78-66 setback against Iowa on Sunday. Indiana's loss snapped a three-game winning streak. The Hoosiers are 12-0 in non-conference action this season and boast an impressive 15-1 mark at Assembly Hall. Indiana's offense is very adept, as it nets 78.0 ppg, which is the 21st best average in the nation. The Hoosiers are allowing opponents to score 66.3 ppg.
Indiana's balanced attack is led by Cody Zeller, who averages team-highs of 15.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Zeller is extremely efficient as he is connecting on 64.4 percent of his field goals. Christian Watford, Jordan Hulls, and Victor Oladipo are all contributing double-digit scoring averages for the Hoosiers as well. Oladipo and Zeller led the team with 15 points versus Iowa on Sunday.

Let’s take a look at the Super Bowl 2009 betting odds and the betting line and figure out where they’ve been and where they are going to go.
MySportsbook.com put up the Super Bowl 2009 betting odds late on Sunday night with the Pittsburgh Steelers favored by 6.5 points and a total betting line at 47.5 points.
Since then, however, the Super Bowl 2009 betting odds have seen a good deal of movement and you’ll want to be on top of where they are likely to move to make sure you get the best line value for the big game.
Since opening, the Super Bowl 2009 betting lines went to Steelers -7 in the span of roughly 3 hours but were quickly bought back down just minutes later to 6.5 again.
After that is took about 5-6 more hours before the betting line went back to -7 where it has sat for a while now and is likely to remain. The opening betting total of 47.5 was bet down right after the line became available and went to 47 within minutes.
Roughly a day later it has been bet even further down to the 46.5 tally it currently is set at.
Roughly 60% of gamblers seem to be on the Cardinals here so the point spread will be bet down and a 7.5 would not last very long at all with many taking the early 6.5 in hopes of finding a potential middle in the Super Bowl 2009 betting odds.
If you like Arizona and see a 7.5, I’d take it as soon as possible because it’s unlikely to last. For Pittsburgh backers, the -7 might be the best you’ll be able to find but a 6.5 is definitely possible close to game time.
Regarding the Super Bowl 2009 betting odds for the total, most tracked gamblers are already on the over and with those who took the under 47.5 already securing a middle on the over 46.5, the only way I see it moving is back up to 47 so if you like the over, I’d recommend betting now.

Super Bowl XLIII isn't even a week old yet and oddsmakers have already released Super Bowl XLIV odds.
Despite the Pittsburgh Steelers winning Super Bowl 43, the New England Patriots are 8/1 favorites to win Super Bowl 44.
Bet Super Bowl XLIV Future Odds
With their 27-23 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII, the Steelers became the latest NFL champion. But believe it or not, oddsmakers from online sports book MySportsbook.com don't have the Steelers the favorites to win Super Bowl XLIV next season.
That honor belongs to the New England Patriots, who are 8/1 favorites to win despite not even qualify for the postseason in 2008. The Pats also have a major decision to make regarding what to do with Matt Cassel, who played well in Tom Brady's (knee surgery) absence last year but is also a free agent this offseason.
Ironically, the Steelers aren't even oddsmakers second choice to win Super Bowl 44, as the Dallas Cowboys are listed right behind the Patriots at 9/1 despite not making the playoffs themselves. Clearly oddsmakers think the public will hop back on the Cowboys' bandwagon considering the immense talent they have and the opening of a brand new stadium.
After Dallas, then comes Pittsburgh at 10/1, but they share those odds with the New York Giants, who won Super Bowl XLII. The Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers round out the top six teams at 12/1, while the Baltimore Ravens (14/1), Tennessee Titans (16/1), Carolina Panthers (18/1) and Philadelphia Eagles (18/1) complete the top 10.
The NFC Champion Arizona Cardinals got no love from oddsmakers as they were established as a 30/1 long shot to win next year's Super Bowl. They share those same odds with the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers – two teams that didn't even qualify for the postseason. Other long shots are the Kansas City Chiefs (100/1), Detroit Lions (100/1), St. Louis Rams (75/1) and Oakland Raiders (75/1).
